1) Are you a photography studio?

We are a boutique model consulting service that works independently to achieve the career, photographic & educational goals of every model; hence we utilise different photography studios, expert teachers, make-up artists and stylists to achieve these goals.

2) What is it like to be model?

The life that a model leads is very exciting. If you like the idea of potentially doing something new and different every day, meeting interesting and often famous people, earning a great salary, getting invites to grand openings and the opportunity to travel the world..... then a career in modeling may be right for you. Whilst most can only dream of this life, for those who dedicate themselves to this hard working career, or amazing part-time job, this can be a reality. The work may involve one day doing a fashion shoot in a remote picturesque outdoor location. Another day may involve playing a small role in a national television show. Another day may include hosting an awards ceremony event in front of a 1000 people. The work can involve long hours, but it is always interesting and certainly has its advantages.

3) Do I need to do modelling classes before becoming a model?

Despite popular belief, you do not need an agent before becoming a model but those who do have an agent are more likely to obtain regular work. The same logic applies here. It is widely considered that an educated model is better placed to take advantage of the industry when empowered with the knowledge of how to do it!

4) How much does it cost to get a model portfolio?

Our fees fluctuate depending on the outcome required by the model. We have very inexpensive options for those models testing the waters for the first time, whilst our fees increase for more complex projects. For full details download our model portfolio brochure.

5) How quickly can I get my portfolio?

As soon as we can do your shoot, we expect a normal turn around time to be within 5-10 days. We will keep you informed of its progress every step of the way.

6) How do I pay for my portfolio?

You can pay either by cash, cheque, direct deposit or with a credit card (2.5% surcharge). 50% of the total is to be paid after the initial consultation, the remaining 50% is paid on delivery of your portfolio.

7) What will happen on the shoot day?

Whilst we offer a variety of shoot options, regardless of the path you decide to go down, you can rest assured that we are solely there to help you to achieve your goals. Our image consultants understand that some may be new to the idea of being in front of a camera and thus we provide nothing but encouragement & support to make the model feel confident & comfortable (which will ultimately bring out their best work).

8) Can I get my photos done for fun without wanting to join a modelling agency?

Absolutely! We regularly organise shoots for clients who want their photos done for "a bit of fun", as part of a birthday present or the like. It is a great chance for anyone to be treated like a real model for a day and to get photos that bring out their best attributes.

9) Will doing Modelling Classes or getting a Model Portfolio produced, guarantee me work as a model?

Getting a model portfolio or doing modelling classes does not guarantee that you will find work as a model or be accepted by a modelling agency.  Whilst we do not turn anyone away from our services, you should consider carefully whether the modelling industry is right for you.
